Four years after Tsunami
26 12 2008
Today, we should be contemplating about what was happened 4 years ago. Tsunami forced in Asia and more than 200 thousands people were died. We don’t know what will be happened ahead, we just can pray, hope, and wish for the best. I read a lot of Christmas messages at phone, email, and facebook. People sent a lot of good wish, not a bad wish. People want everything is going fine, not a war or conflict. So, God has sent us signs, we just can wish the best and do the best too in this Christmas and all of our days.

Everybody Needs To Cry
16 11 2008
Everybody cries when he is sad, when he is glad, when he is in trouble, when he is in miracle, when he is in burdens, when he is in cheers. This morning, I saw many people crying when they are worshiping the Lord. I realize that man is weak, man is poor, man is sinful. We need God that understands our tears, smiles, and burdens. Only with God we feel still in the world of evil.

This is an orchestral concert by Twilite Orchestra with Addie MS as the master Conductor. The ticket is not expensive, it’s only IDR 20,000. So, for all youths in Jakarta, it’s nice to support this occasion by attending the concert.
Update:
I really enjoy the show, especially performances by Lea Simanjuntak, very cool. Beside that, I really love to have my time with my friends until night (optional), hehe.

The Forgotten Code
19 10 2008This was an annoying experience, I had to spend my whole day for programming. I found wrong output each time I run the program, I was really stressful and strived to find the wrong code. After 8 hours I found it, it was a little chunk code that I forget to save in a temporary variable. But I think this is a good development in my knowledge of programming. I have made many combinations of code style and now I know more about lovely JAVA. Now I am happy, smiling, and rejoicing for finishing my tasks, and my home internet connection has been cured after a week disordered. Let’s do programming more and you get knowledge more, haha.

La Meme Histoire
15 10 2008Last night after giving tutor until 11 p.m. then I was doing programming for Intelligence System duty while hearing some songs. There is a song titled La Meme Histoire by Feist, this song is the soundtrack of Paris Je’taime. Well, this song sounds so emotional and sad, I really enjoyed hearing this song while doing programming because how sad programmer is, haha. Alone, live with codes, sleepy.

Believe in God
12 10 2008
I just contemplated and am now writing about this wonderful thing called miracle. Well, there are so many miracles I have experienced in life, like saved from death, etc. But there was one very wonderful thing after praying about one year ago, it was the time when I was not called and I thought that I had lost. It was about scholarship. Four of my friends were called to continue the interview with the CIO of scholar sponsor company. Yes I was sad, that night I was hearing the song ‘When You Believe’. I listened each line of lyrics, and I found that there can be miracle when I believe. I did believe and pray, but I thought that there was no hope to continue, it was over. One truth that though hope is frail it’s hard to kill, so I kept my hope I kept praying. Miracle is happened, I was called a week after. “Oh God, is it true?”, I asked. I just never experienced something like this and my eyes were full of tears. Then, I followed the last test, medical test until the result determined that I get the scholarship. This is miracle, this is real, this is my story, and this is fruit of hope. Thanks God for every miracles in my life.
“Many nights we’ve prayed with no proof anyone could hear
In our hearts a hopeful song, we barely understood
Now we are not afraid although we know there’s much to fear
We were moving mountains long before we knew we could
In this time of fear when prayer so often proves in vain
Hope seems like the summer birds too swiftly flown away
And now I’m standing here, my heart’s so full I can’t explain
Seeking faith and speaking words, I never thought I’d say
They don’t always happen when you ask
And it’s easy to give in to your fear
But when you’re blinded by your pain
Can’t see your way clear through the rain
A small but still resilient voice
Says love is very near
There can be miracles when you believe
Though hope is frail, it’s hard to kill
Who knows what miracles, you can achieve
When you believe, somehow you will
You will when you believe”

Jakarta in Silence
28 09 2008
Finally, I enter the week where people go out from Jakarta to other places in Indonesia. I can breathe more oxygen in Jakarta for there are no traffic jam, no pollution, no neighbours, hehe. But I feel lonely for I only passed my days at home, I need to go out anywhere. I want the noise comes back to this city, I want to see lot of people walk through the paths, sidewalks, in halls, and in campus.
